BCB MEDICAL DELIVERS TISSUE BANK SOLUTION TO MEXICO
Finnish software company and specialist developer of information management systems for the health care sector, BCB Medical Ltd, has delivered a tissue bank solution to the Novoinjertos bone processing clinic in Mexico.
The internationalization of BCB Medical’s TissueDB tissue bank program took a leap forward when Mexican Novoinjertos bone tissue processing clinic chose the BCB Medical solution for the quality control of its processes and for the management and secure distribution of its tissue data.
– This is a landmark contract for us because it opens the door to the extensive North and South American markets. The solution was developed and implemented taking into account the strict quality requirements of this market area, says Petteri Viljanen, Managing Director of BCB Medical.
Novoinjertos processes bone tissue for orthopaedic applications and is one of the biggest actors in the field in Mexico, Central and South America.
BCB Medical tailored its TissueDB solution to correspond to Novoinjertos’s needs. The system has now been brought on line and has met with an extremely positive reception by its users.
– The organisation previously ran several overlapping systems. Now all documentation, data management and information distribution systems are combined within a single program.
