Hoidonvaikuttavuus.fi is a new website that shares the latest information about the national peer review of effectiveness of treatment, and the related pilot projects. The site will also gather news regarding clinical quality registries and effectiveness of treatment.

The steering group for clinical quality registries and other experts are in charge of the content of the site. It is mainly aimed at the professionals of the medical field.

– Clinical quality registries have been adopted by all the hospital districts in Finland. They are being used to monitor nearly 70 disease groups, and a register for additional 30 groups is under development. It is a significant number even internationally. What makes the Finnish concept unique, is the fully digital nature of the registries, says CEO Petteri Viljanen.
